THE ORDER - Rockwolf

THE ORDER - ROCKWOLF

"By the way, how do we wanna call our third album?" THE ORDER's Gianni Pontillo, Andrej Abplanalp, Bruno Spring and Mauro Casciero were sitting in their little rehearsal room and drank beer.

„Catch The Fox?“
"No, that's stupid."
"Code Rock?"
"Sounds a little too military."
"Rockwolf."

Long silence. Somehow there was no protest, and somehow the name suits the Swiss hard rockers' third album perfectly. Wherever the wolf shows up, it rocks big time. Some want to protect it, some want to extinct it. And wherever THE ORDER show up, they rock big time, too. For some they are the new hopefuls of Swiss hard rock, others compare them to big names like Krokus, Thunderhead or even Van Halen.

With Rockwolf, THE ORDER remain true to their direction towards the eighties. With a wolf-like instinct, the band sneaks along the edge of pop music. But sometimes the hard rockers also bare their teeth and paint the town red. As it is suitable for a beast of prey. Rockwolf is pure rock 'n' roll with a heavy dose of hair metal and a hint of pop.

Biography

After the highly acclaimed debut "Son Of Armageddon" (2006) and "Metal Casino" (2007), which received rave reviews, Rockwolf is the confirmation. The confirmation that THE ORDER can stand their ground in the international competition. But also the confirmation that something new can evolve after more than 20 years. That's the time span Andrej Abplanalp,
Bruno Spring and Tschibu Casciero play together in different bands (Gurd, Jerk, Baumann, Frozen Mind). On this well-rehearsed but still fresh sound layer of the trio, exceptional singer Gianni Pontillo feels like a pig in clover, sorry, like an alpha wolf in its stomping ground.
